This beautifully designed restaurant features an outdoor patio with fire pits and an interior decorated with rotating exhibits of local artworks. Herbs, vegetables, and fruit used in preparing Odeum’s stylish dishes are grown in an on-site orchard and garden. My recommendations: POLIPO, CHICKEN & WAFFLES, MARGHERITA PIZZA, & THE TOMAHAWK STEAK.

Betsy's Restaurant Family owned business that has been serving breakfast to the Morgan Hill community for over 20 years. Expect to find familiar favorites such as fluffy pancakes, hearty omelets, crispy bacon, golden hash browns, and cottage potatoes. My recommendations: EGGS & BACON W/ COTTAGE POTATOES & THE COUNTRY BREAKFAST.

 

Things to Do

Over Memorial Day weekend in May, the Morgan Hill Mushroom Mardi Gras is a signature celebration featuring mushroom cooking contests, premium wine tastings, and lots of live entertainment. Morgan Hill Farmers’ Market is held every Saturday morning in the downtown area, with dozens of vendors offering farm-fresh produce and specialty foodstuffs. Another downtown highlight is the historic Granada Theatre. The Granada Theatre originally opened as a movie theater in the 1950s. After completing an extensive renovation, the theater reopened in 2016 as an upscale entertainment and events space hosting pop-up restaurants and live performances. Morgan Hill also provides plenty of recreational facilities. The Morgan Hill Aquatics Center features outdoor lap pools hosting a variety of aqua fitness classes, swimming lessons, and swim teams. The Aquatics Center also has an 18-hole mini-golf course, which opened in 2020. Morgan Hill Outdoor Sports Center has two lighted turf fields and ten grass fields for soccer. Several youth soccer organizations use the sports center’s facilities.
